An exhibition of exercise "Saber Strike 2014" military equipment at Ādaži

On Friday, June 13, from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., opposite the post office in Ādaži, Latvia will take place an exhibition of exercise "Saber Strike 2014" participants’ military machinery, weapons and equipment.

Every visitor will be able to have a look at the Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, as well as the U.S.A, UK and Norway armaments and military equipment, including armored vehicles "Bradley" and "Sisu", Unimog Trucks, a Javelin anti-tank weapons system and an air defense missile system RBS-70.

From June 9 – 20, 2014 in Baltic States, as well as in Germany, takes place the United States European Command-led international military exercise “Saber Strike 2014”.

The land and air force exercise "Saber Strike 2014", which on a rotating basis is hosted by Latvia this year, will be participated by soldiers from Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Great Britain and the U.S.A., becoming the largest "Saber Strike " exercise so far. It will involve approximately 4,700 soldiers, including more than 500 soldiers from Latvian Armed Forces.
