NATO Multinational Brigade Latvia to conduct Mission Rehearsal OAK RESOLVE in Ādaži

From April 20 to 29, 2026, NATO Multinational Brigade Latvia will conduct Mission Rehearsal OAK RESOLVE 26‑01 at Ādaži Military Base and designated training areas. The activity enables the combat readiness evaluation of the Multinational Battle Group Latvia.

OAK RESOLVE is a planned, defensive military training activity designed to rehearse readiness, command and control, and co-ordination among multinational NATO forces stationed in Latvia.

Local residents in Kadaga and Ādaži may notice an increased presence of military personnel, vehicles, and equipment, as well as periods of increased noise, particularly during the field training phase from 20 to 29 April. Drones may be used as part of the training and may be visible to local residents.

Residents that have concerns about unusual drone or other aircraft sightings are asked to contact Latvian law enforcement by dialling 112.

All NATO activities are conducted safely and professionally, in close coordination with Latvian authorities. NATO remains committed to minimizing disruption to local communities and protecting the environment.

Mission Rehearsal OAK RESOLVE is routine, transparent, and defensive in nature, and reflects NATO’s continued commitment to the collective defence of Latvia.
