International exercise “Solar Eclipse 2025”

The main tasks of the "Solar Eclipse" exercise are to train the operations of the Artillery Division Fire Control Center, the crews' ability to conduct combat firing during daylight and darkness, fulfilling specific fire missions, as well as to train combat support capabilities, the use of anti-tank systems, and to improve the ability of the engineering company to perform tasks using heavy engineering equipment.

Units of the Land Forces Mechanized Infantry Brigade, the National Guard 2nd Vidzeme Brigade and the National Guard 3rd Latgale Brigade, plus allies from the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia, will participate.

Historically, the "Solar Eclipse" exercise is organized by the Land Forces Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and this year it is being held for the fifth time.
